I have a 2008 4x4 Explorer ST. I am planning to use 4.10 gears and an IRS ECTED LS locker for the rear 8.8. Has anyone done anything similar and if so what parts did you use?
I have everything I need for the rear, but can't find an aftermarket gear set for the 2008 front Dana IFS differential. What Dana part should I be looking for? The cover on it says 6L24-4033D. Most Explorers have a Dana 35 in the front right? Is the front IFS ring gear the same or different than previous Explorer models? Thanks for any help.
