Ignition stuck in on position

After driving explorer home last night tried shutting off and key would not turn to the off position, tried pulling battery cable but still would not die, then remembered about fuel pump fuse and pulled it out, waited for engine to die then removed battery cable. The key is still stuck in the run position, what should I do next?

Update: Searched forums and found out how to remove and replace ignition key switch, all is good now.
