Had the dreaded 'free spinning key' issue. I ordered a replacement ignition cylinder. It should get here tomorrow.
Does the Explorer have an ignition switch actuator rod? Or does the cylinder insert directly into the electrical switch? I know those were common points of failure on the F-150 and Bronco---I'd hate to put in a new cylinder to find out I need to replace the rod. Thanks!
