Hey all,
The wifes transmission went out on her 96 xlt and it's not worth fixing, so I'm in the market for a new one. I've found a few, both V8's. I have a few stupid questions about the v8's. I did a search but I couldn't find exactly what I was looking for. What is the displacement on the v8's in a 96 or 88 X? Without launching a huge debate has anyone put on a flow master type exhaust and cold air intake and received any noticeable increase in gas mileage?
