How much would it cost to add an information center to my 99 xlt? and is it worth the hassle?

Roughly $400-500. Not worth it IMO but it may be to you.

and the hour's and hour's and hour's of wiring..it would be easyer to go but a EB or limited

Please do a search. You'll find a lot of stuff about it.

Anyways...Be ready to spend about 20 hours for it b/c that's how much it'll take for you to research and connect the wirings. Big Country did this install in his Explorer before he traded it in, do a search.
