I have a 2000 Explorer Sport with the unkillable 4.0L ohv engine. One bank of injectors keeps dying. I replace them and they die again and again. The truck right now will run for a few minutes and die. I replaced the fuel pump, filter, plugs, wires, EAC, etc. And after all of this it still dies and says the injectors on one side are dead. It is always the same side. I thought the harness was bad but if it was, the injectors on that side would not work at all. My head is now shifting to the point of replacing the ECM. Any ideas out there? I am currently using my very faithful 1998 Explorer Sport 4.0L OHV 5-spd clutch with 261,000 miles on it and it will not die. Need help with the 2000 though. Thanks!
