installed new shocks!!!!

just got/installed new shocks which took about 1 1/2 hrs. Got them from partsamerica.com (front 59371, rear 59088), they are Monroe Shock: Lt Truck Gas-Matic.

the reason why i needed new shocks cause they were the originals (118,000 miles), very bumpy, swayed alot (not a whole lot to do with shocks) and alaska has very bumpy roads.

these new shocks helped the sway a little bit but they are firm a little too firm for me but maybe they will loosen up after a little.

I got the monroe sesatracs and love them. My old shocks were leaking. Advance auto sometimes has monroe sales. Buy 3, get 1 free

did you replace front and rear w/ sensatracs? Did the rear come up? I have the typical rear sag.

I installed the SensaTrac shocks with the coil spring helper... the rear came up a full inch. Probably not level but a LOT better. The ride is excellent and the sway when lane changing is much, much better. I have KYB GasAdjust shocks in front.
