Hi guys,
I just got done reading a write up of the PA 3" body lift and it looks awesome! only problem is I don't have the mechanical ability to do it myself and considering I work almost every day I cant afford to have the rig down for more than 2 days or so. I was wondering if there was anyplace I could take it to have it installed? I dont know if shops would do that without charging a metric s**t ton for it though. Any tips or suggestions will be greatly appreciated!

Sincerely,
Doug K

A bl shouldn't take more than a couple hours..simple tools and a jack.

Yeah right on a 20+ your old vehicle? You can hope. The BL's I have seen done on 1st gens & B2's required cutting, torching, yelling & cursing lol
Google some 4x4 shops in your area & see if any will install & what they cost. By me they charge extra for a lift on anything older then 10 years. Or they charge for each extra hour they spend on the lift past 2-3 hours.

I did mine in like two hours:dunno:even if you cut or torch every bolt there is only like 8...if you pre soak everything then a torch is about all extra you would need.guess it just depends on how bad of shape your bolts are.

A shop will charge more to put it on then it cost to buy...

I agree, it shouldn't take much time to do the basic install. Give the bolts a soak of penetrating oil a few times before the job then just take them out with an impact, jack up 1 side, slip the spacers in and install the new bolt. Repeat on the other side.

Are you in Gardnerville or LA? If you are in Gardnerville you could try Dr Smash in Carson or the new 4Wheel Parts in Reno. Might even find someone willing to help on the Reno4x4.com forum
