Installing new Radiator on my 98 5.0 - anything I need to know?

I think this should be pretty straight-forward, Im going to give myself 4 hours to do it. Basically my Explorer has been inactive the last month or so because of a horrible leak in my radiator. I overheated it a few times and then parked it.

I just got my new radiator in the mail today - and was going to install it within the next few days. Is there a write-up somewhere step by step? I've done radiator swaps before, Im just concerned about the tranny cooling, etc.

Uh, you sure about that MrQ? cuz I look up at the top of the page and I could swear that it says this "Stock 1995 - 2001 Explorers Questions related to non-modified 1995-2001 Explorer, Mountaineer, Ranger and '02+ Sports and Sport Trac."

Could you clarify?

I just did mine about an hour ago on my 2000. It wasnt that bad. Lil tricky getting the AC condenser unhooked from it but all went smoothly. If you take out your fan shroud to clean after removing your radiator................. remember to put it back in!!! lol, I hate when i do that..
