HI, I need help with my wife's 02 mountaineer it has a electrical problem .the instrument cluster is flicking and the interior lights ,radio and the door windows do not work when this happens . I have checked all the fuses in the fuse box under the hood and the fuse box in the drivers side dash with a meter and all are good. I have changed the battery saver relay and the delayed accessory relay on top of the dash fuse box. I cant find the problem any ideas -help will be appreciated. I hope someone can lead me in the right direction Thanks Keith

Could be broken wires in the boot between driver's door and the body. On my phone now will post more details when I get home.

A lot of issues can be because of broken/damaged wires in the boot between the body and the driver's door. I had a bunch of electrical issues and found a broken ground wire in the boot. I repaired the wire and now all symptoms are gone!

Here is a great thread with pics for checking for broken wires in boot between door and the body, thanks to synyster::thumbsup: http://www.explorerforum.com/forums//showthread.php?t=270081

Post #3 in this thread has great instructions for removing the door panel, Thanks to theofam::thumbsup: http://www.explorerforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=271333
Hope this helps. Good luck. :salute:
