Instrument cluster swap

I was wondering if anybody had tried taking the instrument cluster from an '06 or newer EB or Limited that has the larger digital display and put it in an XLT with the smaller display. Is it just plug and play, can this even be done. I have an '07 with the smaller display and I saw and liked the bigger multi-line display on the EB. Thanks for any help.
