instrument lights problem

Recently i noticed when I turn my headlights on in my 91 x the dash lights won't turn on. The only way to get them to work is to push the switch in a little, but for some reason this drains my battery almost completely. Any one know any solutions???

Sounds like the switch has gone. They have a habit of burning out.

Yep, probably. I replaced my switch and right when I turned it on .... it burnt out!
