I went to my local Pull-A-Part today and pulled the entire subwoofer unit out of a 2000 Mountaineer. I also pulled 2 JBL 2-way speakers from the front doors of a 96 Explorer. I am planning on putting these into my 97 Explorer with the premium non-jbl/mach system. I know for a fact that the JBL 2-ways will pop right in, but I read somewhere that it is difficult to integrate the subwoofer unit into a non-subwoofer system. Does anyone have any advice on how to accomplish this?
