Interchangeable hubcaps/ wheel covers?

Hi! This may be a stupid question, but I need to replace the hubcaps on my base 2014 Ford Explorer. I have the original steel wheels and they sort of just snap on. I was wondering if the same style snap on hubcaps but for the Ford Escape would work since they are both for 17 inch tires? I’ve attached some pictures, mine are similar to the silver ones and the black ones are the ones I like but for the Ford Escape. Any suggestions or help would be very much appreciated. Thank you!

You didn't mention which model year Escape so I didn't look them ALL up, but in general no it won't work because the similar model year Escape 17" wheels have a 4.25" bolt pattern instead of the 4.5" bolt pattern on the '14 Explorer. You can lookup and compare different model year Escapes (and other vehicles) at the following site. Otherwise, I would have expected them to snap on fine if the lug nuts weren't in the way:

If you could settle for yours being painted black with 2K (more durable) paint, that's what I'd consider doing.

Those only come in silver. I used the 18" ones when I used winter wheels on my 2011 Limited.
