Interior Fishing Pole Holder

[/INDENT]Has anybody thought about building an interior fishing pole holder that attaches to the roof on the inside? At this time, I keep my back seats folded down, so it's flat. And I store my toolbox( emergency tools in case of break-downs..), my fishing pole(s) and tackleboxes back there. Any suggestions on how to mount/create some sort of holder for it? I don't like keeping them in the bed from fear of damage.. Any tips are appreciated!

you can find a lot of these types of rod holders on the market if you dont want to make your own. thule makes them and so do a lot of other brands. ive thought about making my own as well, but my only poles that would fit are my trout poles. my ocean and striper rigs wouldnt fit, so i just break them down.
