Recently, I replaced the passenger side front wheel bearing and hub assembly. Afterward, I began to get the ABS light. The light would got out shutting off the truck, but would come back on after driving a short distance. Anyway, I've checked for codes and none show up on my reader. I've verified good connection at the sensor plug on the inner fender, but nothing seems to make a difference. I've also disconnected the positive battery terminal to reset the computer. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Do you have cruise control? Does it work when the abs light comes on?
In my 04 when my abs light comes on, the cruise wont work either. From the research I've done on this board, its the sensor on the master cylinder. Its a $20 part, but I haven't gotten around to changing mine to confirm if thats the problem.

I haven't tried the cruise, most of my driving is in town. I will give it a shot and let you know. Thanks for the reply.

Had this problem with my 02 last summer. The intermittent light was caused by a faulty O2 sensor. Take it to a dealer or a mechanic and they can run a diagnostic and swap the sensor.
