The last Ford I had was a 65 Falcon without power anything. I buy my cars based upon how many dog crates and dog paraphernalia I can fit and the Explorer is a bit bigger than my last car- 2019 Honda Pilot. I am mourning the loss of a CD player tho- putting 1000 CDs on a jump drive (mostly Classical) is just not practical. Any suggestions for rigging a CD player into the system?
Welcome to the forum. If the radio has an input jack you could put all your music on a MP-3 player & play it through the factory radio. I have a MP-3 player & audio cable & hook it to the radio input jack on our 08 Escape, & it works just fine. You just have to look in the owners manual to see what the radio would have to be set to for playing an external source. I hooked up a MP-3 radio interface in my 00 Ranger, & in my wife's 99 Sport so we can play them in our trucks also. It is easier then carrying a pile of cd's.
