IRS articulation, better w/o swaybars or not

IFS articulation, better w/o swaybars or not

I have heard that being the limited aticulation of the IFS Explorer that disconnecting the front sway bar doesn't have much, if any affect.

Thoughts???

I hope no one here told you that, because it's pretty wrong. Removing the front sway bar on an IFS truck will significantly improve flex.

And 2nd gens have a IFS, not IRS.
 






Now I just need to figure out a way to make a quick disconnect for my front sway bar.

I used to have a better picture of a 4x4 ranger with the dixon bros long travel kit rock crawling that looked kinda like this but you get the idea

No sway bar (more of a body roll shot) but you can see how it articulates:
