is 15X7 to 16X7 good idea???

Im putting on the Tortion twist and shackle lift in a couple days. It should give me about 1.75" inches of lift. I also am going to do some fender trimming to give the front tires a little more room. Right now I have 235/75/15's. Either way I am getting some new American racing rims. But do you all advise I stay with the 15's and get like 32X11.5/15 's or go up to 16's? I want 16 but dont know if it will mess my ride up. Also what 16's are about equivalent to 32X11.5/15 's? Please help me out here! Thanks, Grant

Going to a 16" rim won't mess up anything on the truck. It might make your tires a little more expensive though. I think tires for 15" rims are more common, and may be less expensive. If you are going to change rims anyway, and you plan on running larger tires in the future, you might want to consider going up to an 8" or even 10" wide rim. Just my .02

Yea i just now saw that I put 16X7 instead of 16X8..The rims i want are 16X8. The price of the tires doesnt really matter too much to me since I get 550 for the recall and my friends dad is paying 250 of it. Just need to pick out the right sizes.


Anyone know what 32X11.5/15 's are equel to in 16's?

get a 15x8. much more common...almost all 15 inch tires will fit... and 15 inch tires are always cheaper.
