Is a 1998 Explorer Limited 5.0 Full Time 4WD w/transfer case towable behind an RV with all four wheels down? Without removing driveshafts

If it's a stock 5.0, it's not 4wd with a true transfercase, that has 2wd/4wd, H/L selections. It will have an AWD case (4404) that is only high range, and puts out power to all 4 wheels at the same time (mostly).

If it is a stock 5.0 AWD, then you need to remove the front drive shaft to flat tow it. Takes 5 - 10 minutes once you know how. The stock front differential is an OPEN carrier, so it can handle it, easy peasy.
