I herd that if you get f-150 coils they would fit onto an explorer. If anyone one has a starter they can sell or spare for a 1993 ford explorer 4x4 v-6 4.0.
 






It's true that f-150 coils will fit, but you have to modify the coil bucket, by bending one of the retaining tabs out of the way, and then the spring wants to pop out at full drop. I haven't done it, but I did read about someone swapping them into their bronco II. I may have read it here, but I think it was at therangerstation, or rangerpowersports. Now, f-150 coil spacers will bolt right in with no modification, and will give you about 1.5" of lift.
 






Ya I'm not sure about f150 spring, but the coil spring seats off a late 80's early 90's f150 will give you about 1 to 2 inches.
