Is the Master tool kit needed for '04 4.0?

Good day members. I've been shopping for the otc 6488 timing tool kit and also found otc 6489 Master timing tool kit. What is the master timing tool kit used for? Do I need it to time the 2004 4.0 thanks

It’s just a series of tools to keep anything from rotating. If you can rent them from a parts store, I’d do so.
I got lucky and picked one up for $60!
I prefer using the right tools whenever possible.
