Is there a Keyless entry remote for a '92 Explorer XLT

Hi all!!! Without calling the dealership and holding for ever, I thought I'd ask here if anyone knows of a Keyless entry remote for '92 XLT?!

It wasn't a 'Factory' option, if that's what your asking.

It could have been a Dealer Item though....

ok i have a 92 xlt and mine have keyless entry it also works the alarm too check ebay they have them cheap

I would recommend keylessride.com to get your remotes. They offer O.E. remotes or aftermarket remotes at a good price. I know it was a dealer option, possibly a factory option. If your not sure which give keyless ride a call so you get the right remote the first time.

That place is very expensive. Ebay's a cheaper source for alarm remotes.

I got an extra remote for my 94 for 12.50 plus shipping on ebay so i would definitely advise checking there.

Hi all,

How might i determine if I have keyless remote capability or not? bought a xlt 1992 for $500, its a great truck for the money at this point its running awesome! have 94 eb also. any help wud be great!
