Hello. My name is Tomi and I have a Ford. Again.
Four years ago a nice junkyard guy came to our house and took away our beloved pile of rust, previously known as Ford Mondeo. On that day I swore there will be no more Fords in our yard.
Well, never say never. This winter has been so crappy (tons of snow and stupidly cold) that I had to get myself a form of transportation that can handle rough conditions. I work in construction sites and those places are not always smooth as silk. So I bought me this old Explorer. It was sold to me as 1994 model but registration says it's 1995. VIN-number comes back as 1995/08 built 1996 model. Go figure... I've decided its mid-90's model.
The contraption has 4.0L OHV, shady matt paint, funky light bar on the roof, illegal LED headlights, 2" lift kit and straight pipes after the cat - neighbors love me now more than ever.
Despite being an old ride and having some minor issues with antenna, EATC, interior lights and switches this thing is actually pretty damn fun to drive. Now I'm going places and also coming back without any help.
Funny thing happened: all speed bump that make our Toyota slow down have dissapeared...
