Well im stick of throwing money into this truck..I replaced 3 tierods and one more to go, which is bad...but tonight i was looking for my PCV valve and noticed that my boot for the steering shaft was gone, so i gave it a wiggles and heard a knocking noise which for so long i thought it was my tierods.

-So what is casueing it, is it the rack in pinion os some bushing? if their is bushings...i know its hard to tell if your not seeing it in person.


-Also, i cant find my pcv valve, i got 2 pictures so you could guide me to it

-And finally, i got a picture of a white towel...the spot on the left is my power steering fluid, the middle is new atf fluid, and the right is my tranny fluid....looks kinda bad

The "intermediate steering shaft" is a part that seems to go out fairly commonly. I had to replace mine sometime back chasing down excessive play in the steering wheel.

Thanks, I think that may be my problem....On that they say slack, I wonder if that slack would make a noise when wiggling the steering wheel with the key in the on position??

Definitely- the steering wheel lock should stop you from much wiggle with the key off.
