Hey, i finally got my Explorer back up and running after i got rid of the Auto and put a 5 speed stick shift in it! Man it unbelievable what a difference it made, the power is back in her and she runs just great, i'm glad i spent the money because it's going to save me on some gas milage and i just love it, i was so excited to finally get in her and drive. Thanks to everyone who helped with my questions, i couldn't begin to name everyone since just about everyone helped!
But now there is something else. I didn't by a starter switch that mounts to the clutch petal, so the guy that i bought the tranny from did some finishing work for me and he did something so that it would start, it will start without pushing in the petal, that kinda gives you an idea, ok, so i knew this was going to happen but i didn't think to tell him, but i can't get it in 4lo (electric switch). I know it has something to do with that switch cause it tells the computer that it is in neutral and it's okay to switch. Does anyone know how to bypass this or am i going to have to pay this guy to fix this too? Any help would be appriciated!
Happy trailes!
