Oh yeah, definitely an interesting time! Airing down helped considerably! We aired up to about 30psi before leaving in fear of the storm and not wanting to have to fill them back up during it; so on the way out traction was very sketchy, I was cruising right though the soft stuff when we first arrived, afterwards in comparison sucked! Yep, learned enough about where that skinny pedal can get me, sand is one that ya need to keep that sucker steady for, or slowly build for that crap. So have to go more often, not big on the beach but it was a great time, between hanging out there and the drivingLookin' good out there! Sand is its own game; it can be wet and firm, or it can be dry and loose, or it can be wet and slurpy. Knowing the throttle is crucial. I've never done it in a 2WD. Looks like you did well!
