I'm going to go ahead and make a correction on my previous post about the Rocker arms..

What I meant was he had no abnormal wear.. like all the pitting mine had.

SO I'M NOT HIGH I SWEARZ!! :p:

is that the paint fumes talkin again? lol

yea i took a new one back out and noticed the difference. new = completely smooth, old = smooth with a smooth crater in the middle thats still silver colored.
no wonder my ticking was so damn loud

Man.. I hate that yall know what I do in my spare time now.. lol

Speaking of which, have you decided if your going to give yours a little color flavor?

plan is:
engine bay = cleaned up and touchups if necessary (white)
block, water pump, oil filter bracket, brackets that hold belt accessories, lower intake, fuel rail, heads, ac compressor, belt tensioner = black
valve covers, intake, water neck, tb, maf, alternator = black chrome
all the pulleys = white

not sure on the intake pipe yet. possibly black chrome so the black couplers stand out. im gonna run on stock one until i get 3" exhaust pipe made for it

I was at work and phone was dead.stuff looks way better clean now!!

pmed you brandon.

yes it deff looks so much better already. i wonder if the old rockers were supposed to be silver like everything else apparently lol
and you were right, that lube is sticky as crap!

i want to try and tackle the other rocker assembly, and start on the exhaust with the torch today. if no torchy today ill do it saturday

one more thing before i forget. i do not use cruise control, want more room. so i removed it, took the link off the throttle, etc. the vac tube that goes into the cab from the cc box i plugged with a bolt, will that work?
