Jrgaylor's 1 Ton BroncoII

While looking for a possible transfer case for my early bronco project I came across this Bronco II on craigslist. I had meet the owner of it back 12 years or so ago from a diffrent forum and had been on a couple of runs with him.
I am sure a few of you will know this BroncoII when you see a picture of it.

The first part of this post will how the BroncoII was when I got it and how the PO did a great job on so many things.

Then I will go into what I have done since purchase to have it fit my needs.

Lots of small stuff left to do, trimming rear wheel well rear shocks, brake lines all the way around, anti wrap bar, and final burning of all the brackets once I have checked the articulation/clearances on my ramp

Nice. Wish I would have done a 60 from the start.

I think most would, but at the time it seems reasonable to build up a TTB or D44.
I have been collecting parts for awhile with no build plans, just see a good deal and put it in garage. The 60's were 350 or less each, both air lockers for 750. Those were my best deal I got

Looking awesome Joe!!

At least your making progress, I haven't even started on my mods for Moab yet. Less then a 100 days to go.

Get close enough to the end to see the light. Steering ram suppose to be here Tuesday.
First coat of paint last night.
Once the new steering box is in I can finish the gussets on the front hoops and with the ram in place I can finalize the brake hardliners placement.

The red is on need to do all the back and put the lights and mirrors on. Looks decent at 20 feet and for 25 bucks or so it is all the same color of red again
