So I was looking around the interior of my ride and desperatly trying to find a place to install my radios when I felt that the only way to make it look really clean was to build and entirely new console. A trip to Home Cheapo and a stop at RadioShack and JoAnn ect. and I was fully ready to begin. I made the frame and sides out of 1/2" cabinet grade plywood, covered the whole thing with marine vinyl, nice foam armrest, some cupholders from Amazon and the end result is a sweet install for my radios, phone and iPod chargers, and a little tray for various other things. Also while I had the interior ripped apart I put my emergency lighting switches in the A-pillar to get them out of the way. Enjoy!
