hey all...just bought a black 2004 XLT used with 80,000mi on it for $9200. Had one owner. Has fold down third row seat and DVD system. other than that pretty much stock. the first thing i had my husband do was smoke the tail lights and side markers and bake and paint the headlight housing black and also paint the brake calipers red. he also hardwired my tom tom gps into the dash so it turns on and off with the ignition. we just bought an 8000k HID kit for the low beams but the flicker slightly. so before I order a relay...i was wondering if that would solve my problem or would I also need to get some resistors as well? I am also going to get an HID kit for the fogs as well but i would like to get the Lows working properly first...any ideas? thanks

Gday and welcome to the forum. I cant help with the hids but I use my phone for pics. Tale your shot then plug in to your computer. Post reply, then go advanced and click manage attachments, browse your phones images and upload to your post. I take my photos at 800 x 640 pix that way they'll fit. Use an image resizer for bigger photos. With the HID kit, try a search on this site, just use the search bar under the serious explorations logo.

You are going do have to do a right up on that when he gets around to it. Sounds awesome.

Really nice looking Ex. How is the TomTom with it being located so low? I usually stick mine on the windshield under the mirror but would like another spot to mount it.

well for right now..nothing will be done performance wise...he's always breaking parts of his stuff...he just broke his motor a few weeks ago..at the time he was running 20psi boost 408whp/456tq..i remember this from the shows and meets lol and is now in the processes of a SRT-4 motor swap built for racing. (he grew up mopar i grew up ford lol...so we need a reliable car for now lol.....so just cosmetics for me at the moment

i dont like the look of it being in view of the windshield area...since i only use it when i dont knoiw where im going i just glance at it when it says turn whichever way...its not bad at all..it actually fills that empty space nicely
