Just got my Hypertech...

Got my Hypertech, and put it in, I followed the instructions on the site, but after I started it, it was running rough. I'm not sure how loose the 'alignment screws' are supposed to be, so I took them off and plugged the chip in firmly. I'm waiting for the computer to reset, to see if I notice a difference. I used octane booster and have maybe 1/4 gallon of 87, and the rest is 92. Anybody have any suggestions if this doesn't work?

I went scraping at it more and got lots of the lacquere off. Plugged it in, let it run for 15 mins, took it for a hard drive. It seems to be idling better now, and I for sure see an improvement! Did a great burnout at a stop sign, perfectly dry cement, and it seems to be accelerating quicker. The higher octane might also help, I have 92 in there with a tiny bit of the 87, and emptied a can of octane booster. I get 4 cans for $10, so not the worst deal. Is it true that when I switch to higher octane, if I have lower octane, it contaminates the whole tank? Someone told me this that's why I bought the booster. Either way, I love this chip!
