Just wanted to crow a little about getting my rear bearings done. I did the fronts myself last winter, but this job was a bit much for me, so I had a local mechanic do it. He let me buy the parts, so I got Timken bearings, plus new rotors and pads from Rockauto for $200. He charged me a total of $400, and nothing else broke in the process. The calipers were ok, and he reused the hubs. I feel pretty fortunate to get out of it for $300 per side.
