Hello forum members,
I have just joined the Forum. I live in Scotland near Edinburgh.
In 1992 when I was living in Houston, TX, I bought my Ford Explorer XLT new and when I was transferred back to Scotland a couple of years later I took with me. I still have it: there were a couple of things that had to be modified to comply with UK traffic regulations. The most complicated was the headlights system, the original headlamps could not be switched around adequately.
The truck has served us very well, among other things by moving furniture and other bulky items when my daughters were going to college.
There are now a couple of items of maintenance that my faithful workshop and I need to do for maintenance, to make sure that the truck lasts for another 20 years (;-)), and I am looking forward to your collective experience and help.
