First, let me just say, i can't wait to get this machine! :bounce: My problem is, I was only able to get 1 74GB 10,000rpm hdd installed from dell. They do not offer you the choice to purchase a second one and have it installed from the factory. So, what I did was purchased another Western Digital 74GB Raptor 10k rpm drive from Dell and had it shipped seperately. Now my question is how to install it? These are SATA drives and though i do have alot of computer hardware experience, i have yet to work with this newer technology. Also, I know i should have built my own machine, but i don't have the time nor want to put fourth the effort to do that, so i just got the next best thing, the XPS from dell. Here are the specs, let me know what you think.

damn, thats a beast
sometimes, its just easier to buy one pre built
anyways, SATA HDDs are pretty easy to connect...its the same as with any other hard drive, only you have to connect it to a different part of the MOBO...just connect it to the power and the SATA harness in the spot right next to your primary HD
