16x8 cragar soft 8 rims are on their way, with 265/75/16 Maxxis Bighorns.
Now the only down fall to spending this money is that i dont get center caps with my wheels. Does anyone know what size cap fits the cragar soft 8s, and do i have to replace my air valve stems. Any help would be appreciated

in the info on the rim it should say what size it takes and be sure to post pics;)

You can also get the chrome center caps from a 2nd gen explorer from a junkyard. The chrome on black looks awesome in my opinion, plus it has a ford logo on it so they look more factory than any Cragar center caps will.

The shop mounting the tires will put new valve stems in, at least they better!!!

Post pictures when done;)

thanks for the input. Pics will be posted as soon as i get it all installed.
now another question, since this is my first time putting aftermarket rims on any of my vehicles, i know ima need new lug nuts. is there a certain size i need for my 2002 explorer. i know i need conical seat style lugs, i just dont know what size i would need.

take one off at autozone and use the nut/bolt plate for sizes (not sure what its called)

true that.. thanks.
ill keep ya post on when i get the rim/tires on.
the next thing im thinkin about doin is 150w offroad lights for may safari bar and maybe HIDs for my fogs and low beams. ANyone know a good company to get the HIDs from.

ddmtuning has the HIDs for cheap, and they actually are really good, available in 35W or 55W in different temperatures. check their website out.

So what do yall think would look the best. Chrome or Black center caps.
Keep in mind i dont really have any chrome on my truck. Just the lugs and the Explorer emblems.
