Hey all,

Just picked up my new winter beater 02 Explorer EB edition. Car starts up perfectly, has a new tranny, motor is at 185k miles.

It seems to have a few DTC's being set (I scanned using ForScan). This is the list:

Code: B1676 - Battery Voltage out of range
Code: U2013 - The compass module is not responding.
Code: B1318 - Battery voltage Low
Code: C1284 - Oil Pressure Switch Failure
Code: P1000 - On-Board Diagnostic (OBD) Systems Readiness Test Not Complete
Code: B1342 - ECU internal fault
Code: B1921 - Air Bag Diagnostic Monitor Ground Circuit Open
Code: B1317 - Battery Voltage Too High
Code: B1318 - Battery voltage Low
Code: B1483 - Brake On/Off Switch circuit failure
Code: P1816 - Transmission Neuteral Safety Switch Circuit Failure.
Code: P1891 - Transfer Case Contact Plate Ground Return Open Circuit
Code: P1836 - Transmission transfer case front shaft speed sensor circuit failure

It has a brand new battery, so I'm not sure why there are so many battery DTC codes. Where should I begin? LOL

Thats a lot of codes! Have you tried clearing them and seeing which ones reappear?

Weird, I used Torque app and there are no codes being thrown. Anyone know why?

Looks like a bad grounding wire. I'd check the battery-to-body(chassis) first and go from there.

I agree. With so many codes of be looking at a common grounding issue.
