Well I had a bad compressor clutch and as we all know you cant just buy the clutch. When I went to my local NAPA parts store the guy quoted me @ $275 for a rebuilt comp or $375 for an A/C kit which consisted of a compressor and evaporator and condensor. I figured since I had to replace the evap anyway I might as well grab the kit.
Well everything went great until I pulled the old evap, the stock line was bent tubing running up the quick disconnect on the evap. The old evap had a vertical connector and the hose had a 90 degree bend to connect to it. The new evap has the 90 degree bend and I cant get my old hose to make the turn. Well I did but it blew off shortly thereafter.
Any suggestions?
Anyone know of a place to buy a new hose to fit?
X details 91' Sport Manual Tranny and the A/C is R134a it looks like a dealer job the old Comp was R134a.
Thanks guys
SM
