Intake installs are pretty simple overall. I've put on both MAC and Volant intakes before. I am a below average mechanic and the instructions for both makes SUCKED. I'm sure K&N will do a better job of documenting the install. Don't sweat it.

From, stock to FIPK in about 10 minutes. It is simple.

Here is the best pic I have of it installed, Sorry that I have no close ups of install process, but trust me it is a no brainer.

how hard was it to remove the stock airbox, i looked at it today (have not yet recived the kit) and i did not see any screws or anything

The stock airbox is held in by four pegs which seat into a rubber bushings.
To get it out you just got to get a good grip and yank.

There are two pegs on the bottom of the box close to the center of the vehicle. Unhook these first by pulling up on the box. There are two more that attach through the passenger fender. If the first two are unseated these just require a yank or two toward the center of the vehicle. It actually takes a good amount of force though.

Of course before doing any of this you should have removed the rubber airhose from T-Body to MAF.

Now you need to remove the Maf from the stock air box. It is attached with 4 alan screws.

This might be a good time to clean your MAF filaments as well. Now attach the MAF to the Fipk heat shield with a gasket. On the other side of the heat shield add a gasket and the cone filter adapter. Again you have four bolts to tighten up.

The kit includes a bracket which mounts to the front bolt on the alternator. This is to help support the system. Attach the new tube to the t-body and secure to the previously mentioned bracket. Now slip the maf and adapters onto the hose and secure. Last is just putting the filter on.

thanks
