K&N Intake Kit for 07 Explorer, will it fit 07 Mounty??

Hi All,

Been a while since i've posted on the site, recently retired my 94 XLT tank and picked up a clean 07 Mounty with 50k on the clock. So i guess its time to start bolting things on.

I've noticed on both K&N's Website and Summit Racing's that K&N makes one of their FIPK type kits for the 06-07 Explorer 4.6 V8. However, I dont see them list this for the Mounty. I know that the Explorer and Mounty are basically mechanically identical minus the transfer cases. Does anyone know if this kit will fit on an 07 Mounty? Am I missing something? Or is it just a simple listing quirk in these catologs. Appreciate the Help.

To be honest I dont believe there is a difference in intake set ups. It should be a complete and simple drop in as most of the engine parts are interchangeable.
