ive read the tutorial on the keyflip but all i got out of it was that i can lower my x with it, but what about using it to lift?

i have a 99 explorer 4x4, i want to do SOA, but then the x would look like a cheesy drag racer. and i assume if i lift the fron the most i coud expect is like 1.5 inches or so. any other wayt to lift the front.

I know about shackles but the way i see it is, if i can do an SOA for 50 bucks, and then (depending on the price) lift the front id rather go with the latter.

anybody done this.

SOA is a LOT more work, and the OEM leaf springs are not stiff enough to prevent axle-wrap which inevitably comes with the larger tires.

For the front, I *think* you could use a system off a Ranger with some modification, but again, it wouldn't be fun. If you're going that high, you may as well go full-width solid axles front and rear. It's not much more work.

Also, AFAIK, flipping the torsion keys won't help you lift it the height you need to match the rear if you do an axle flip.
