- 2013 Explorer Limited
Hi guys. I have a 13 explorer limited.
It has a preactivated basic remote start and i was wondering if i can have the bidirectional remotestart's antenna installed to help increase the distance to activate the function. I live in ohio and am a foreigner from a tropical country so i am really using this function to its fullest and would love it if i can crank the engine up from a longer range.
Also, i noticed from a friend i helped purchase a 16 ex limited that the key fob is different from what i have. Since its more appealing to me, does anyone know if i can switch my ia keys to the new ones bu just ordering them and programming them into my rig.
It's u fortunate that most ford representatives and techs are bottled up in to their own protocols when people outside and ford enthusiasts end up knowing more than what they have in their books.
Thanks in advance.
