update ....Went outside this morning hit the key fob nothing (i knew that would happen)so i pulled the passenger rear kicker panel away far enough to get at that dreaded black box .Took my heat gun and put some heat on it 15 seconds or so hit the button and boom open they worked ...i get a small fan put it on that black box wait 15 minutes go outside hit the button nothing ...Ok the gloves are off now...Go to the garage and get me 5/16 socket and pull the box out.Go to the basement heat gun in hand grab a screw driver and pry open the box to expose the circuit board lay it on the work bench and put the heat on it...moving the heat gun as to not cook any one spot but evenly heat the whole board got it nice and hot .With gloves on picked up the board and put it outside.(its about 30 degrees out) let it sit about 30 minutes. Now nice and cool plugged in the circuit board to test it hit the fob and boom doors unlocked i put the fan on and wait another 30 minutes(still not convinced) go back outside hit the fob and it is in fact working> put it back in the black box reinstalled it.put everything back together trying the button from time to time everything is ok.Take it out for a drive hitting the bumpiest road i can find just in case.....got home hit the fob and it worked..i think its fixed in the time i have been writing this i have been randomly hitting the button to hear the horn chirp ...one last thing..the fob now works from a very long distance my driveway is 85 feet and it works from the end of the drive never did it from that far before.Dont know if this will help anyone but thought i would put it out there anyway
