Keyless entry code

Does anyone know where to get the 5 digit door code for the keypad. I have a friend that just bought an explorer and it is missing the card inside. The older explorers were in the left rear on the module. Please let me know where to find this. Thanks-j

From what i've read it's in the passenger side dash, the airbag needs to be removed to see it. Or go to the dealer and have them scan for it, depending on the dealer it will cost anywhere from $50-$75. If you want instructions on how to get it yourself, search the forum, you'll find MANY threads pertaining to this.

yep what this guy said! I bought my explorer from a chevy dealer, but took it to ford to find out the code. It took them literally less than 5 minutes to do it and it was free. They shouldnt charge you for it if its a decent dealership!

That being said, the code for mine, 06 iron man edition, is on top of the fuse block under the dash on the driver side.
