Keyless entry remote fob #

Does anyone know how to find the part # for the key fob for my "new" 97 XLT with remote entry? I found the door code in the access panel, but don't know what key fob to look for on ebay. I bought a couple whci don't program. I believe they fit 01 F150's. Thanks, David

I just recently bought two "new" keyfobs for my "new" 97 Eddie Bauer off of eBay.

There should be three buttons on the front of the fob: Lock, Unlock, and Panic. Panic is orange, the others are black.

On the back cover of each keyfob, I see the following information:

Transmitter 2
FCC ID: GQ43VT4T
DOC: 1470 K763
TRW Inc. 3165189

Programming is easy to do on your own. Just to give you an idea of wht they are going for, the folks I bought my fobs from included the instructions with each fob, and altogether I spent about $21 for both fobs (used), with shipping included.
