nither of my key fobs work properly, new batts in both fobs
sometimes they work sometimes they dont,
also my doorlock button wont work on driver side even after i replaced the switch but my passenger side lock switch will lock and unlock all the doors
i can use the keypad on the driver door and it works fine
is there an antennea somewhere ? i know the keyless entry brainbox is in the d.s. rear wheel well ,all wires going to it look ok
btw i know my fobs are good as i can program them to my 2000 explorer and they work fine from 50-60 feet away
thanks for the help

the older RAP modules had an external antenna, the newer ones do not. i don't know when Ford stopped using the external antenna. if i remember correctly it's just looks like a black wire sticking out of the module.

ok,i found 5 broken wires in the conduit going to driver door, solder repairs done and now my door lock switch works from driver side
my key pad will unlock the doors properly
the only way my remote will work is if i put it rite next to the keeyless entry brainbox
does that sound like the box is bad?
