We plan on being out there Wedensday afternoon sometime. Tracy's parents are coming as well so we are bringing both rigs.

Well we finally got here and the whole team has had the worst luck getting here so it can only get better. We have been working on the cars non-stop the last 2 weeks with many sleepless nights. We drove straight through, 24 hours to get here. We have alot of work to do tomorrow getting the cars ready.

Yeah, I should still be around at that time. I gotta get food and load up the rig. I don't have any firewood but i'll pick up a bundle or 2 at the store.

IZ, too bad you can't make it out here, I think it's gonna be pretty awesome. I've been looking pics on Pirate from people who are there already and can't wait to get there myself

Dave and Matt, good to see you guys out there. I tried to find you again but never did. I did see Dave driving back towards the lakebed from wrecking ball/Calrocks pit area on our way to the pit around 4-ish Friday. Our team did pretty good, we got 9th, last finisher and a DNF. We would have been in the top 3 most likely but had a power steering failure that took some time to fix. The 9th place FJ truck was beat by the end of the race-oil all over and some beat up tubes and skid, I got a chance to drive it through some whoops this morning and the tranny wouldnt reverse and the compression breaking was not working. I did get to ride up some of Wrecking Ball, that was fun.

It was good to see you again Brian even though it was for a short visit, I know you were a little busy getting stuff ready.
I was coming back from Jackhammer and Sledgehammer when you probably saw me. I spent most of the day driving (and hiking) to different spots on the course.

I've got a ton of video put together today that's all Sledgehammer but the problem is finding a host for it...200MB's. I tried Google video which is unlimited but it turns to garbage and not worth watching.
