Laggy pedal on 18

Was bored and test drove an 18 XLT recently with the 3.5L while I got mine inspected at the dealer. Not impressed with the tiny screen (I'm sure there is an upgrade, but coming from my 7" it was small).

I did notice a noticeable lag sometimes when you step on the gas pedal. Not terrible but enough to be annoying. Salesman kept denying it but it was there. I guess it is to save gas? The 16/22 on the sticker isn't very impressive :lol:

An 8" screen is standard with Sync 3 and navigation. My 2011 Limited also had the 8" screen.

It's just an electronic throttle control thing. I have no idea why. A throttle cable driven car will always be more responsive.

Some people have managed to tune it out, but I've never really seen the need. Good observation though nonetheless.
