Lamin-x fog light film - installation?

As the title mentions, I am curious about the installation of the Lamin-x fog light film. I have performed this on my previous 2020 Subaru Outback Limited XT and was very simple/straight forward .... but this set doesn't look to be this way on the Explorer. First, you don't realize how large these units are until you have some film in your hand and try to match it up to the unit. Secondly, it doesn't seem to really make sense on the way they would lay over. I check the ol' YouTube and no luck on there or on Lamin-x website... any of you done this yet and if you did, got any tips?

Hi Chris. No one has posted about doing this on the 6th gen. There is a post about it in the 5th gen but it may not help.. 2013 Sport
