Leaf spring swap?

Nice forum you guys have here. Well i'm new to the explorer, i've had rangers since i started driving. I have a '95 ranger that i rolled a couple of weeks ago and i was wondering if i could replace the mono-leaf system in my "96 explorer 2door with the ranger spring and shackles for some added lift. The springs from the ranger are brand new 4-leaf packs. I figured i could flip the center pin for the explorer axle, but are the eye to eye distances the same, does it matter with the schackle? Also would i be able to use the stock schocks? Thanks in adavance.

i realize i may have posted this in the wrong forum, but both vehicles are bone stock.

From what I understand the ranger leafs are different lengths, not sure though. You can replace the mono leaf with a 4 door leaf pack, many people have done it. The ranger leafs may be worth a shot, sounds like all it will take is time.
